Traverse the ridgelines along the Appalachian Trail as it connects between two of the most memorable landmarks along it’s 2200 mile journey. The balds at Max Patch, with 360 degree view need no introduction. The quaint town of Hot Springs is most famous for their natural mineral hot springs, but also for sharing it’s sidewalks with the Appalachian Trail. This will be no simple task, as we’ll take every bit of 3 days to hike the 20.3 miles across ridgelines, stream crossings, and steep rolling terrain, all while carrying up to 35 pounds on your back. The sense of accomplishment and euphoria you receive when you cross the finish line and climb into the spring fed tubs at Hot Springs Resort, will not soon be forgotten!
